Course number : HS131
« back to classes page
This nation was based on the ideals of the Declaration of Independence and the structure of the Constitution. These two documents make America unique in the annals of history. We are a complex combination of people originally from many different areas of the world with different languages, customs, religions, and ideas. From this mixture has matured a nation Lincoln called   “the last best hope of earth.” But, it has been a struggle of sectionalism, slavery, racism, often violence, and serious political discord. This course will follow the story of our attempts to reach those stated ideals.

Students will need to have the following in order to participate in this class:
  • Laptop or Desktop Computer with both audio and video capabilities or external webcam and speaker
  • Access to Zoom Video platform
