An artist’s statement is the primary way to create a relevant context for an artwork or an artistic series. This class focuses on writing an artist’s statement that best suits each student’s creative endeavors, and will consist of workshops on how to describe and explain those endeavors in succinct ways. This class is open to artists with experience of all levels, and who use any medium, but will be perfectly suited for those looking to take the next step in their artistic practice.

Students will need to have the following in order to participate in this class:
  • Laptop or Desktop Computer
  • Access to Zoom Video platform
  • Webcam
