There are risks associated with using your personal information for financial, health, legal and other purposes. Your information needs to be protected against unauthorized exposure or use which can result in identity theft, impersonation, and even criminal acts and deeds. What are the threats that lurk out there? How can you identify and reduce these risks associated with these threats? What do you do if your information has been compromised? In this class, you will learn about various useful tips and practices as to how you can identify these threats and defend yourself against them as well as actions to take if your personal information is compromised.

Students will need to have the following in order to participate in this class:
  • Laptop or Desktop Computer
  • Access to Zoom Video platform
  • Webcam
