Figure Drawing (SDA)

Learn how to observe and draw from a live model. After a brief summary of anatomy, we explore gesture, sight-measuring, how to block-in form, primary light source, and cast shadow. Through the investigation of the human form, students learn how the figure is rendered in space and develop skills to continue regular practice, whether in our Figure Drawing class or on their own.
