While George Washington never gave a speech or held a fundraiser, presidential campaigns today are multi-billion dollar operations lasting months. This presentation will review some of the similarities and differences in strategies and campaign tactics from the Founding Fathers to the 2024 election. This session will highlight the influence of political parties and the impact of technology throughout our nation’s history. Finally, we will consider the emergence of artificial intelligence and how it is revolutionizing presidential campaigns.
