Learn the process of creating a two part mold to make clay forms through slip casting. This class dives into the process of plaster mold making and covers techniques on how to take an object and turn it into clay. During the four day class, the techniques of mixing plaster, setting up a mold box, and constructing a two part mold will be instructed. Students will be able to make repeatable hollow ceramic vessels from their molds, and will glaze and fire their finished work. All skill levels are welcome. All supplies are provided. Closed toe shoes (not crocs) are required in the studios/labs.
