In this studio and 3D fabrication lab experience, students learn how to design models for 3D printing. Through instruction and demonstrations, students will be guided through a combination of technical and creative skill development to learn the basics of 3D modeling, including how to optimize your model for 3D printing. This course covers basic 3D modeling in TinkerCAD, as well as how to set up a model for printing in various 3D printing programs. Students bring a sketchbook, pen/pencil, and eraser. All other supplies are provided. Closed toe shoes (not crocs) are required in the studios/labs.
