SAM Summer Art Camp - Mural Madness

A cool and creative way for your child to learn, Sarasota Art Museum camps are the best of summer. Your Young Artist will get a chance to look closely, experiment with new materials, and try new techniques with the Museum as their classroom! 

Each week, your camper can explore new themes, activities, and projects inspired by Art and Artists on view at Sarasota Art Museum. Our Teaching Artists will work with your campers to install their own Art Show! Each session will have a new and exciting theme, so campers are encouraged to enroll in multiple sessions. 

Have you ever wondered what goes into making a mural? This week, Campers will learn all about Community Art and get to meet a local Mural Artist who will help walk them through creating their own classroom mural! After exploring all of the site-specific murals on the museum campus, campers will brainstorm, plan, design, and paint a mural collaboratively, while also getting to explore creating their own life-size paintings!
