Due to a scheduling conflict, this class will not start on Tuesday, February 16th but will start on Tuesday, February 23rd. The February 23rd class will run from 12-3pm EST, for an extra hour than the regularly scheduled class, and each student will receive an hour one-on-one with the instructor to make up for the missed class. Apply fundamental traditions of design as you build a synergetic series in a watercolor sketchbook while capturing simple gestures with loose pen+ink+watercolor washes. Your individual style and "story" will emerge as the series unfolds. Course is best suited for the intermediate or advanced watercolorist ready to stretch creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills!
REQUIRED MATERIALS LIST
- Watercolor Sketchbook. Suggest 11"x17" hardbound, at least 140# Cold Press Cotton Paper
- Watercolor Palette of Semi-Moist Paint.
- Watercolor Brushes: 3" Flat, #12 Round, #6 Round
This class is online via Zoom. To join the online class, students are required to have an internet connected device. A computer or laptop with a larger screen is preferred, however, students may also use a mobile device such as a tablet or smart phone.
While you are not required to have a webcam or microphone to join a class, you will not be able to be heard or share video of yourself without them. However, you will still be able to see and hear the instructor and other students during the class.
