This advanced course is designed for artists ready to deepen and expand their abstract landscape practice. Through guided exploration, students will move beyond literal representation to interpret landscape through color, movement, atmosphere, and emotional resonance. Emphasis is placed on sophisticated composition, nuanced color relationships, and expressive mark-making. Students are encouraged to take creative risks, refine their visual language, and develop stronger, more intentional work. The shared studio environment fosters dialogue, inspiration, and artistic growth while supporting the creation of distinctive and highly personal abstract landscapes.
All supplies are included. Students are also welcome to bring tools of their own that they prefer to use when painting and mark-making.
Please note: The offering of Innovation Workshops is contingent upon meeting a minimum enrollment requirement. If the minimum enrollment is not met by the registration deadline, the College reserves the right to cancel the workshop. All enrolled participants will be notified at least two weeks prior to the first scheduled class regarding the status of the workshop.
