The Full Figure in Clay with Phillipe Faraut

Join us in welcoming Philippe Faraut back to Ringling College of Art and Design to present this seminar with a focus on the full reclining figure; nude or draped from a live model in water-based clay. Several lectures and demonstrations, on proportions, anatomy and the use of planes in the construction of the body and head will be provided. In addition, time will be spent on the dynamic of several types of drapery. The technique of preparation for firing water-based clay will be discussed. Firing services will not be provided during the workshop. All materials and tools will be provided for use during the class. Local Sarasota accommodations.

Please note this workshop is 3 days only. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
