This course will cover an introduction to painting, it’s principles, techniques and studio practices.  Students will learn; materials and proper handling of such, grisaille painting, indirect painting, direct painting, and how to identify local color.  Along with an understanding of practices and techniques, students will develop a critical eye for their work and the work of others. Group and individual critiques will support these projects. All supplies provided
