This summer, The Studios at SAM invites you to roll up your sleeves and rediscover the joy of creative play in this week-long summer camp experience designed just for adults. Whether you're a seasoned creator or are picking up a paintbrush for the first time since grade school, this camp celebrates the freedom and fun of art-making, without any pressure to reach perfection. Each day, we'll explore a different medium. Come solo or bring a friend—just be ready to make a mess, try something new, and leave feeling energized, inspired, and joyfully "Young at Art."
Young at Art Adult Camp Schedule
Monday: Step into our state-of-the-art ceramics studio and learn hand-building techniques as we create with clay
Tuesday: Create a beautiful silk scarf for yourself or to give as a gift with dye-transfer techniques
Wednesday: Express yourself with explorations in watercolor painting
Thursday: Finish the ceramic piece you created on Monday by glazing your work
Friday: Work with oil pastels in our drawing studio
