Discover the vibrant art of Majolica in this introductory workshop focused on ceramic tiles. Participants will learn the fundamentals of the Majolica technique, including applying the base glaze and painting their own designs using colorful glazes. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced ceramic artist, this hands-on class will guide you through the process of creating beautifully decorated tiles that showcase the expressive potential of Majolica. Traditional painters will find this workshop a wonderful opportunity to translate their skills into the ceramic medium. Participants are encouraged to bring sketches or ideas of what they want to paint on the first day of class to make the most of their creative experience. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created your own unique set of hand-painted ceramic tiles and the skills to continue exploring this timeless art form.

Note: Price includes instruction, materials, and equipment use. Participants should bring sketches or ideas to the first day of class. No previous experience necessary.
