Painting from Life | Oil Painting (EAC)

(intermediate - advanced)

This class is for students who are interested in learning to paint in this iconic tradition or who may want to put a new spin on this classic painting style. Painting objects from life utilizing a still life set-up, live model (up to 2 sessions per series), or plein air will give students the ability to see and develop a realistic painting style. Students will have the opportunity to develop classic oil painting techniques through demonstration and practice. Fundamental concepts and skills will be covered including composition, linear perspective color theory, light and shadow, and much more.
