Handbuilding and Wheel Throwing (EAC) | 4-class Series

Learn hand-building and wheel throwing techniques while creating a variety of ceramic objects.  Hand-building instruction will focus on slab, coil, and pinch methods.  Basic glazing practices will also be covered as well as a variety of decorative techniques. 

NOTE: Price includes up to 25 pounds of clay (for in-class project use only), glazes, and firing.  Additional clay may be purchased from EAC.  Students must adhere to the EAC’s Pottery Studio Policies and Procedures.

Currently Enrolled EAC Ceramics Students may purchase Open Studio sessions to continue or finish working on their pieces from class. There is no formal instruction during the Open Studio and currently enrolled ceramics students new to EAC are required to get authorization from instructors to participate. EAC Ceramics Instructors reserve the right to use the studio as needed and can cancel any Open Studio session. EAC Director reserves the right to revoke access to Ceramics Open Studio at any time without refund.
