Handbuilding and Wheel Throwing

(beginner – intermediate)

Learn handbuilding or wheel throwing techniques while creating a variety of ceramic objects.  Hand building instruction will focus on slab, coil and pinch methods.  Basic glazing practices will also be covered as well as a variety of decorative techniques.

NOTE: Price includes up to 25 pounds of clay (for in class project use only), glazes, and firing.  Additional clay may be purchased from EAC.  Students must adhere to the EAC’s Pottery Studio Policies and Procedures.
