In order to understand who we are as both individuals and societies, we should first explore our biological predispositions and the evolutionary traits which have made us human. This course will begin with a summary of how the human brain functions. Then we will explore our evolutionary roots as the neurological basis for a number of common behaviors such as emotion and social interaction.
