Psychology of Contemporary-Ancient Wisdom in Aeschylus's Oresteia (OLLI)

Wisdom is not transmitted in wise sayings but through a constellation of events that emerge from the contexts and milieu within which we live. "Explain that,” says the cognitive mind. And the wise, ancient child mind responds: ?Explanations miss the point.” The "point" is what you experience, in your inner being, while in the presence of ancient or timeless wisdom. The Oresteia, by Aeschylus, is described by some as a murder mystery trilogy, written 2,500 years ago. However, through Aeschylus's unique mind, the mystery channels through dramatically sequenced psychospiritual events that set the stage for deepening self-knowledge and worldly wisdom.
