Good books invite reflection; discussing them with others can open new perspectives. The OLLI Book Club brings together thoughtful readers to explore a curated selection of fiction, non-fiction, and classics. Participants read each book in advance and gather for in-depth discussions of the ideas it raises. We read four books, one every two weeks. Conversations are guided by the leader and group members and shaped by the diverse insights participants bring. Our goal is to appreciate both the books and the larger issues and insights they invite us to examine. Many participants find that the conversations in class stay with them long after the session ends, and the connections made with others are deeply enriching. The first book to read is "The Latecomer" by Jean Hanff Korelitz.
