French: Advanced Intermediate, #1 (OLLI)

This course is for participants who have completed OLLI Intermediate 2
or whose level of French includes a command of the present and past tenses, daily routine information, and discussion of events completed in the past. By class completion, students should be able to:

• make appointments and consult with physicians, dentists, and pharmacists

• ask for information and plan future events

• interact with bank personnel

• express and understand types of obligations and intentions

• inquire and interact by phone 

Completion of these topics will depend upon the ability of the group to advance together through the curriculum. Written work between classes is optional but recommended. The instructor will provide grammatical and cultural information throughout the course.
