make reservations at a restaurant, order food, and understand the setting formalities
make hotel reservations, relate needs and questions to hotel personnel
inquire about destinations and purchase tickets at train or subway stations
Completion of these topics will depend upon the ability of the group to advance through the curriculum. Written work between classes is optional but recommended. The instructor will provide grammatical and cultural information throughout the course.
